Our 15 Favorite Beauty Products Launching This Fall

By September 16, 2020September 27th, 2020No Comments

As summer draws to a close, the Image Intelligence team is heading into fall thinking positively about the potential for socially distanced gatherings at favorite local restaurants and parks underneath the changing leaves. Also on our minds: layered looks for crisper weather, switching out bright summer colors for deeper amber, gold, and red wine tones, and refreshing our routines for the new season.

The change from summer to fall may feel less apparent than in previous years––what with remote work and kids staying at home continuing for many. However, we have discovered that adding a new beauty product to our daily routines has done wonders for reintroducing energy and excitement to our lives. Though we all have our tried-and-true favorites, you may just find the perfect update for your signature look among this season’s innovative beauty launches.

Read on for our favorite beauty products that are launching this fall, with colors and textures evoking the warmth of enjoying a backyard bonfire with friends or sharing the perfect cup of apple cider with your family.

Olive & June LD $8

Olive & June is one of the best new nail polish brands on the market. Its formulas are toxin-free, the colors are named after inspirational women, and the founder runs a now-iconic salon in Beverly Hills of the same name––so we’re confident she knows what’s best for our nails. This alluring rosewood color is the perfect fall neutral to coordinate with darker outfit color palettes.

Essie Cargo Cameo $9

Frequent fashion week nail artist Aja Walton loves this color for its unique pearly and iridescent muted brown tone.

OPI Have Your Panettone and Eat it Too $10.50

This burnt orange distills the uplifting feelings of changing color seasons and pumpkin picking into a bottle.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Honey $39

Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder is beloved for many reasons: it absorbs oil, blurs imperfections, and creates a matte finish with no photo flashback. Its newest shade, Honey, is perfect for medium olive, warm, and golden undertones. (“Translucent” and “Medium Deep” cover practically all other skin tones for a complete collection.)

EM Cosmetics Pick Me Up Volume + Length Mascara $24

From pioneering beauty YouTuber Michelle Phan, this mascara extends your lashes with innovative tubing technology. The long-lasting, conditioning formula wraps a tube around each lash, for a result that’s as long-lasting and lengthening as any waterproof formula, but infinitely easier to remove.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara $29

Known for their color-matching foundation, Charlotte Tilbury’s newest release is this incredible full, all-day hold, humidity and smudge-proof mascara. It’s our go-to for days when we have back-to-back Zoom meetings from 9 to 5.

Westman Atelier Eye Pods in Les Jours $88

Glossier Vinylic Lip in Driver $16

We love Glossier for its simple yet effective formulations, and versatile, intuitive products––all at an accessible price point. Their Vinylic Lip, which combines a lip liner, stick, and gloss into one easy step, is one of the best lip products out there. The newest shade, Driver, is the perfect brick red for fall. For a sheer but noticeable tint, try clicking the pen two or three times for application.

Mary Kay Unlimited™ Lip Gloss $16

In any of its three finishes––cream, pearl, or shimmer––this nourishing lip gloss delivers instant shine and moisture. Despite its high shine, the innovative formula is neither tacky nor sticky.

ILIA Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil $26

Infused with hyaluronic acid, this vegan, cruelty-free lip gloss makes your lips feel fuller, smoother, and softer with each wear. Each of its six muted, versatile shades will find their ways into our makeup rotation this fall.

Beautycounter Beyond Gloss $29

Inside this little tube, jojoba seed oil provides comfortable, long-lasting wear, vitamin E provides antioxidant and skin-conditioning properties, and organic vanilla creates a signature sweet scent to craft a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine Balm $36

A lip balm with the shine of a lip gloss, the first of its kind. We’ll be swiping on this luxuriously comfortable formula for minimal makeup days. Antioxidant lychee extract and coconut butter secretly smooth lips as you go about your day with an extra shimmer.
